The Gstaad Yacht Club and Saanenland continue to be regarded as major players and make a significant contribution to the success of Swiss sailing. Following the launch of the GYC Racing Team project in 2008, the club has co-sponsored various athletes at different levels of competition, many of whom have made it into the limelight of the sailing elite.

Silver medal at the World Championship in Oman
Anja von Allmen has been on the rise for some time and is blazing her trail. After being named Swiss Sailing's 2021 Youth Sailor of the Year and consistently turning in outstanding results since then, she has now done it again. Anja won the silver medal at the 2021 Youth World Championships in Oman last week with a remarkable performance.
